The invention relates to a process for introducing a dowel into aerated concrete. The essential features of the invention consist in the fact that a bolt provided with a cone at the upper end is driven into the aerated concrete and an expansion sleeve, which is slit in the upper region and can be plugged over the bolt, is driven over the cone and thereby expands into the aerated concrete, and possible optimum designs for internally threaded dowels are shown.
