PURPOSE:To eliminate a need of the work such as issue of a magnetic card end to prevent a medium which is used to discriminate whether a customer is a member or not, from being lost or stolen by managing customer information by fingerprint being a part of the body of the customer himself. CONSTITUTION:A fingerprint pattern detector 1, a POS terminal equipment 2, and a host device 3 are mutually connected. A center device 4 is connected to the host device 3 through a public line network or the like. In this case, fingerprint of the customer is detected as recognition information of the customer by the detector 1 and is converted to fingerprint pattern data. The host device 3 collates detected fingerprint pattern data of the customer with fingerprint data registered in a table to recognize the customer. ID codes corresponding to fingerprint pattern data registered in the table are stored in the host device 3, and the ID code is used to process the transaction data. Thus, transaction processings and information of customers are managed by fingerprint pattern data. |
