The mobile scaffolding (10.1) has supporting frames (25) which rest on displacement bars (11.1, 11.2). The displacement bars can be displaced on feet (15) with immobilising castors (18). The latter can be adjusted in height with the aid of the nuts (16.3). Auxiliary rungs (40) are fitted beneath the horizontal load-bearing members (12.1; 12.2) by means of rung-retaining means (42.1, 42.2). The lowermost scaffolding base (35) is suspended on said retaining means by latching claws (47), with the result that it can be easily reached from the floor even when the feet (15) are extended by a considerable amount. A connecting bar (45) is also fastened at a low level on the rung-retaining means (42.1). <IMAGE>
