<p>PURPOSE:To quicken the work and to efficiently execute stabilizing treatment for cooling and crushing slag by making a closed vessel a vertical type, spraying water from the upper part of the vessel and diffusing exhaust steam from the side part or the bottom wall of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:The high temp. steelmaking slag 20 is fed into the closed vessel 2 by filling into a core 1. An opening/closing part 3 is closed to make the closed condition and the sprayed water 19 is applied from the upper part of the slag 20 and hydration reaction of the slag 20 is developed toward the lower part. The exhaust steam is diffused from the side part or the bottom part of the vessel 2 after passing through an exhaust steam duct 16 and an exhaust steam boiler 18. In the vessel 2, at the time of cooling the slag 20 together with processing of the hydration reaction, the cooling water is vaporized and the function as the pressurizing vessel is displayed with the generated steam to make the vessel the high temp. and high pressure state. The cooling and crushing treatment of the slag 20 is started from the upper part of the vessel 2 and shifted to the lower part. The cooling, crushing and stabilizing in the vessel 2 are achieved at the same time, and the slag is modified into the treated slag having the fixed quality.</p> |
