The device incorporates a cylinder (1) with stop (4), and a disc (5) supports itself on the stop. The piston rod (2) also has a stop (6), which acts with the counter stop (7) on the disc. The stop in the cylinder is formed by two inward directed beads.The disc is held stationary between the two beads. The disc forms part of the seal/guide package (8), and supports itself in/directly on the cylinder closure (9). The stop on the piston rod is formed as a ring in a groove in the rod.
