摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a steering device of a vehicle which can secure l the directional stability of a vehicle when a disturbance such as a cross wind is received in a vehicle straight running condition, without hurting the turning-round property of the vehicle in a front wheel steering condition. CONSTITUTION:A control unit to add and subtract plural signal operation values obtained from the detecting signals of the car speed, the yaw rate, the front wheel steering angle, and the like, so as to decide an object steering ratio is composed as follows: When the yaw rate phi' in a high speed straight running is made larger (S1 to S4), the steering angle change rate induction gain J2 (¦theta'F2¦), and in its turn, a yaw rate operation value is increasing-corrected for a specific time (converting from the characteristics B to A) (S5 to S7). As a result, when a larger yaw rate is generated by receiving a disturbance such as a cross wind in a high-speed straight running condition, the yaw rate operation value is increasing-corrected, and an object steering ratio is also corrected to the side to improve the directional stability of the vehicle. This increasing correction is finished after a specific time passes (S8 and S9). Consequently, it is prevented that an unnecessary increasing correction after the disturbance is over so as to hurt the turning-round property in a front wheel steering condition.</p>
