PURPOSE:To provide a unitized portable passageway which takes the form of a landing pier and which can be easily installed by the effective use of a space in a construction site, freely extended as a work passage of the construction site, and connected together so as to be usable as a passage or scaffold continuing in any direction. CONSTITUTION:A passageway, erected or suspended between the horizontal supports of beams, etc., to be assembled and enabling workers to walk or perform various work thereon, comprises a main passageway 10 and an auxiliary passageway 20 being held along one or both ends of the main passageway while its length is freely adjusted. The main and auxiliary passageways comprise a pair of frame bodies and scaffolding boards 12, 22 collectively provided between the insides of the frame bodies, and collapsible handrails 80, 90 are attached to the frame bodies of the main and auxiliary passageways. The handrails each comprise stanchions 81, 91 and horizontal members 82, 92, the lower end of each stanchion being vertically movably inserted into a socket 83, 93 secured to each frame body. Connecting fittings are mounted on an end portion of the frame body of the auxiliary passageway. |
