PURPOSE:To provide a pattern matching circuit capable of easily realizing the LSI a normalization mutual correlation. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is provided with a first integrating part A1 calculating the sum SIGMAfi of input data fi, a second integrating part A2 calculating sum of squares SIGMAfi<2> of input data, a third integrating part A3 calculating the sum SIGMAfi(gi-gm) of the product fi(gi-gm) of deviation (gi-gm) for the average gm of template data gi and input data fi, a data register R1 registering the number N of input data, the average of template gm, the standard deviation of template sigmag and the threshold sigmath of correlation coefficient sigma and an integration calculation part IC, and the device roughly recognizes the location of the maximal value of the correlation coefficient by preliminarily determining the threshold of the correlation coefficient. |
