A floor section 2 slopes towards a gutter 1. A sliding carriage 3 which is oriented transversely with respect to the gutter 1 can be displaced parallel to the gutter 1, in order to push manure off the said floor section 2. The sliding carriage 3 is provided with a rinsing installation 6. It is proposed to provide the sliding carriage 3 with two doctor blades 4 and 5 and to design the rinsing installation 6 to spray between these doctor blades 4 and 5. The stable-floor system proposed, in operation, thoroughly cleans the stable floor and, partly as a result of this, produces low emissions of ammonia, while relatively little liquid is added to the manure during rinsing. <IMAGE>
