PURPOSE:To facilitate the generation of a tree analytic chart by performing conversion into the tree analytic chart for a fault on the basis of control logic chart generating CAD data, previously storing fault rate data, and applying the data to a basic event of an FT(fault cause) chart and calculating the nonreliability of the top event. CONSTITUTION:Signal output conditions and switch operation states are retrieved going back to control logic from the final equipment operation state of a control logic chart and signal generation factors, logic symbols, lines, etc., which are required to generate the FT chart are selected. The selected symbols of the control logic chart are converted into the FT chart, which is stored in a FTA(tree analysis of fault) file 1. Then the fault rate of the basic event required to calculate the nonreliability of the top event is prepared, collated and decided through the instrument number and switch function of the basic event, and the fault rate is automatically applied to the reference vent. The data are stored in the FTA file 1. Then the set nonreliability of the top event is calculated from the applied fault rate of the basic event and stored in the FTA file 1. |
