PURPOSE:To excellently separate fullerenes by using the C18 column (a column filled with a filler prepared by chemically coupling an octadecyl group) of high-speed chromatography and a hexane/lower alcohol mobile phase. CONSTITUTION:At the time of separating fullerenes (C60, C70, C78, etc.), a system containing a mixed solution of hexane and lower alcohol is used as a mobile phase. For example 2-propanol, ethanol, etc., can be used as the lower alcohol. When the lower alcohol is added to the mobile phase, a sharper peak can be obtained. In addition, the elution can be delayed (retention can be intensified) when the adding amount of the lower alcohol is increased. |
