1311311 Polysulphone resin blends UNIROYAL Inc 11 June 1970 [15 July 1969] 28348/70 Headings C3P and C3R A synthetic thermoplastic resin composition comprises a blend of (A) from 75% to 99% by weight of a linear thermoplastic polyarylene polyether polysulphone resin and (B) from 1% to 25% by weight of a homopolymer of ethylene, which may be substituted with halogen or halogen-containing groups, or a copolymer containing at least 10% of polymerized ethylene. In examples polysulphones are blended with ethylene/propylene copolymers, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer, chlorinated polyethylene, chlorosulphonated polyethylene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, ethylene/ propylene copolymer extended with naphthenic oil, poly(tetrafluoroethylene) and poly(vinylidene fluoride). |
