PURPOSE:To obtain a compact acoustic gyro without reducing detection accuracy and changing a speaker. CONSTITUTION:A container 55 which is a cube and is in a hollow shape is filled with a fluid which is used as a medium of sound. The inside of the container 55 is divided into two air chambers 45 and 47 by a barrier wall 31 in a shape where J shape is inclined by 90 degrees in clockwise direction and a speaker 23 which is a sound source. When the speaker 23 is driven by a signal from an oscillator, a volume change with an equal absolute value and an opposite sign is given to the air chambers 45 and 47. A propagation path 49 is formed between the barrier wall 31 and the upper surface of the container 55 and the propagation path 49 and the speaker 23 form a sharp angle. A sound pressure is generated within the propagation path 49 by a vibration volume change which is given by the speaker 23 and a pair of microphones 51 and 53 are mounted on the upper surface of the container 55 for detecting the sound pressure within the propagation path 49. |
