<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording medium excellent in corrosive resistance and dulability by providing a substrate film, ferromagnetic metal thin film and top coat film on a non-magnetic resin base body. CONSTITUTION:This body is a magnetic recording medium providing a substrate film, a ferromagnetic metal thin film and top coat film on the non-magnetic resin base body. This substrate film and top coat film are plasma polymerized films containing silicon respectively, in which silicon content is 30-50 atomic %. Moreover, atomic ratio of oxygen to silicon (O/Si) is 1.2-1.95. And a bulge point of electric current in anodic polarization curve exists at plus in electric potential and the above plasma polimerized film is formed by using alkoxysilan system compd. and gaseous O2 as a raw materials and the film is produced by regulating the flow rate of alkoxysilane system compd. to gaseous O2 at 0.1-0.6.</p> |
