Heat exchanger comprising a plurality of substantially parallel tubes, which can be joined together in rows and are intended for the circulation of a first fluid, a second fluid circulating outside the tubes in a direction which is globally perpendicular to the direction of the said tubes. Each tube in one row is connected to two adjacent tubes in the same row by a sheet (2) of expanded metal which is integral or made integral with the two tubes which it joins, along a generatrix of the latter. The sheets (2) joining the tubes are formed by a single piece from one end to the other in the same row of tubes. The said piece consists of a strip having, after punching and longitudinal stretch-forming, an alternating configuration of perforated portions and non-perforated portions (3) used to form tube portions or to receive preformed tubes in close contact. These heat exchangers can be advantageously used for exchanges between a liquid circulating in the tubes and a gas (for example air) circulating in crossed currents outside the tubes. <IMAGE> |
