PURPOSE:To reduce speed change shock by deciding the start and end time for reducing the engine torque by means of an engine rotating speed, a transmission output rotating speed and the change rate thereof at the time of changing speed. CONSTITUTION:An engine torque reducing start time deciding means 44 decides the start time for reducing the engine torque in the case where the difference between the transmission output rotating speed change rate and the engine rotating speed change rate at the time of changing speed is above the first preset value. An engine torque reducing end time deciding means 45 decides the end time for reducing the engine torque in the earlier case between the case where the difference between the transmission output rotating speed and the engine rotating speed is abode the second preset value and the case where the difference between the transmission output rotating speed change rate and the engine rotating speed change rate is below the third preset value. A set value calculating means 46 for calculating the second and third set values according to the condition of speed change operation so as to always precisely decide the start and end time in response to the actual speed change time, so that speed change shock can be reduced. |
