<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of efficiency in recording which occurs in a recording device of heat sensitive type or thermal transfer type wherein irregularity occurs in record if a moving speed of a head is below a predetermined speed, thereby not recording until it reaches the predetermined speed. CONSTITUTION:When a recording is to be performed, a head 2 is energized by driving a carrier 3 by a motor 8 and taking up a ribbon by a motor 15 for recording. When the number of revolutions of the motor 8 is below the regular number of revolutions, a time for energizing the head 2 is controlled by a controller 26. In thermal transfer and thermal recording method, there is a correlation between energy to be supplied to the head 2 and the speed of the carrier in order to record correctly. If the time to energize the head 2 is controlled based on the number of revolutions of the motor 8, excellent recording is possible even if the number of revolutions of the motor 8 is below the regular number of revolutions, so that waste of ink ribbon and space occurring at rising and falling of the motor 8 can be avoided.</p> |
