<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a tape load during an oscillating operation at the time of the inversion of a tape traveling, as for a device which uses a capstan motor as a means which drives a reel by an oscillating gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating gear 34 of the oscillating gear mechanism comes in contact with a winding reel 20 in order to rotate the winding reel 20 clockwise, by the rotation of a capstan motor 10 to an anticlockwise direction, at the time of the traveling of a tape 16 in a positive direction. At the time of the traveling of the tape 16 in an inverse direction, the capstan motor 10 is inversely rotated only in a time or by a rotational extent necessary for the oscillating gear 34 to be engaged with a transmission gear 36 at a supplying reel 18 side, and stopped in a short time. Afterwards, the capstan motor 10 is accelerated to a desired speed.</p> |
