PURPOSE:To obtain the information display device of high quality which is high maintainability and low in operation cost by automatically comparing the brightness of a reference light emitting element with the brightness of the light emitting element of the display device by a brightness comparing means. CONSTITUTION:The brightness comparing circuit 12 compares the brightness of the brightness reference light emission diode(LED) 8 with the brightness of a sample LED 9. When there is a difference, a brightness adjustment device 3 adjusts and corrects the brightness of the LED of the display device 1 and the brightness of the sample LED 9 so that the difference is eliminated. Therefore, while the display device 1 is in use, the brightness of the display device 1 is held constant without requiring special maintenance operation, and the same display quality as the initial brightness can be maintained.
