Rotary hinge for slow pivot movement of cover

The hinge uses a shaft (3) between 2 relatively rotated parts, with a hollow shaft section (31) attached to one part, supported by 2 end caps (32,33) attached to the other part. A torsion element (4) acts between the hollow shaft section and one end cap (33). A viscous grease is packed between the hollow shaft section and the end caps. The hollow shaft section has a locking part (31b) coupled to the end of the torsion element and rotated w.r.t. the second part (31a) secured to the cover.
