PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave absorber which can fully absorb electric waves without increasing the thickness of an electric wave absorbing material layer. SOLUTION: The electric wave absorber 10 comprises a metal member 1 whose one surface 1a is corrugated, and the tabular electric wave absorbing material layer 2 installed on the surface 1a side of the metal member 1. In the electric wave absorber 10, when an electric wave is incident at an incident angle exceeding a prescribed angle with respect to a normal line 12a of a front surface 2a of the electric wave absorbing material layer 2, the electric wave is reflected on the metal member 1 only once after passing through the electric wave absorbing material layer 2. Since the metal member 1 has a corrugated form, the electric wave is incident into the electric wave absorbing material layer 2 at a small incident angle after reflected once on the metal member 1, resulting in emproving the electric wave absorbing performance of the electric wave absorber 10.
