Vehicle seat (1) slidingly arranged on seat rails (4) and fitted at the front with a longitudinally displaceable thigh support (8). As the seat is moved backwards the support is fored forwards to give an extra support area (c) at the front of the seat. USE/ADVANTAGE - Seat extension system in vehicle is controlled by a Bowden cable and is designed to provide anatomically correct leg support.
