PURPOSE:To make the rapid correspondence of an operator possible and to prevent the continuation of the interruption state over a long time by displaying the kind of continuous form paper or cut form paper to be set on a liquid crystal display panel on the basis of the data from a host processing apparatus and sounding a buzzer urging paper replacement or the setting of the cut form paper. CONSTITUTION:A printer control apparatus 1 transmits the display data and alarm command from a host processing apparatus to a terminal printer 2 and displays the kind of paper on a liquid crystal display panel 8 under the control of a processor 5 corresponding to the display data and the alarm command through an input/output control part 7 to sound a buzzer 9. Continuously, in the terminal printer 2, printing becomes an interrupted state and the signal showing the printing interrupted state is outputted to an interface signal wire 3 through an interface control part 4. By this constitution, since the printing interrupted state in the terminal printer 2 is sent to the host processing apparatus from an interface part, the interruption of printing accompanied by the setting of paper is not judged to be an obstacle. In this state, an operator performs the replacement of continuous form paper or the setting of cut form paper on the basis of the indication displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 8. |
