The invention concerns an element joining system for affixing the frame elements (1, 2) of buildings to the understructures (3) and to each other. As taught by the invention, the horizontal lower part of the frame of the frame element consists of a laminated timber beam (4) comprising, on its underside, longitudinal grooves/ridges (5), and to the understructure, on which the frame element is propped in upright position, is affixed an equivalent horizontal laminated timber beam (6) having corresponding longitudinal grooves/ridges (7), the frame element being propped on the understructure with the grooves/ridges (5, 7) against each other, free from any separate fixing elements between the laminated timber beams.
|
