<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed and high efficient coding processing by storing moving position picture information with minimum absolute value differential sum in one auxiliary memory at all times. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary memories are selected and moving position picture information representing a minimum value of absolute value differential sum in the past is stored to any of the auxiliary memories at all times. When it is discriminated that the comparison of all moving position number is finished, the moving position picture information is transferred to a buffer memory 40. In this case, an output of a flip-flop 32 opens an AND gate 33 or 34 so as to output an output of the auxiliary memory toward an OR gate 35. When the data transfer is finished, a reset pulse is outputted from a reset pulse generating section 24 to reset the content of the flip-flop 32.</p> |
