PURPOSE:To lengthen a mechanical life by outputting a detent action signal when a detent member is at this side to a detent position after the detent member has passed through a boundary position corresponding to the shoulder section of a recessed section at the time of moving an operating member to the detent side. CONSTITUTION:When an operating member 2 is moved, the stroke of the member 2 is detected by a sensor 24, based on which, a detent mechanism 4 is controlled by a controller. In the range of e stroke (l) from a position on the shoulder section A1 of each detent recessed section 233 to a detent position wherein the center of each ball 44 corresponds to a position above the bottom section of each recessed section 233, each ball 44 is rotated around each shoulder A1 so as to be moved by a distance (d), a switching valve is restored thereafter by a signal from the controller (detent actuation signal) at an operation starting point B1 to which each ball is moved by a set distance (a) from the shoulder A1 to the detent position side. This thereby permits oil within each detent releasing hydraulic chamber 43 to flow out to each tank 5, thereby energizing each stepped piston 43 and each ball 44 to the member 2 side so that each ball 44 is pressed on each recessed section 233 with pressure. |
