<p>A separator for separating oil from recirculating refrigerant gas in a refrigeration system, wherein the oil is in the form of liquid streams and entrained droplets and constitutes up to 10% by volume of the flow, comprises a chamber (12) having a deflector baffle (10) which is V-shaped in transverse section so as to efficiently collect the liquid stream, followed by an axial flow cyclone separator (2) for removal of any residual entrained liquid droplets. <IMAGE></p> |
