<p>PURPOSE:To attain the optimum cooling of a computer store board in accordance with its installed environment by controlling selectively the intake and exhaust operations of the upper and lower ventilating fans based on the real upper and lower temperatures at the outside of the computer store board. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether the temperature detected by an upper temperature sensor 15 is lower than that detected by a lower temperature sensor 16 or not via a control circuit 18 to which the temperatures detected at the upper and lower parts outside a computer store board 1. If the temperature of the sensor 15 is lower than that of the sensor 16, the revolving directions of the exhaust fans 3 and 4 are controlled in the prescribed direction so that the air is taken in through the upper part of the board 1 and exhausted through the lower part of the board 1 respectively. On the other hand, the revolutions of both fans 3 and 4 are controlled in the adverse direction so as to take in the air through the lower part and to exhaust the air through the upper parts of the board 1 respectively when the temperature of the sensor 15 is higher than or equal to that of the sensor 16. Thus, the lower cool water is sent into the board 1 by pressure. As a result, the cooling state of the board 1 is opti mized in accordance with the peripheral environment.</p> |
