Support for bringing infirm person from sitting to standing position - consists of inflatable cushion with sloping upper surface mounted on links
摘要
An infirm or disabled person sitting in an easy chair often has difficulty in achieving a standing position. This difficulty is overcome by using an inflatable cushion. When deflated the upper surface is parallel to the lower surface. The upper surface is attached at its front edge to the front edge of the lower surface by pivoted links. These links restrain the upward movement of the front edge so that when the cushion is inflated the upper surface slopes downwards in the forward direction at an angle of about 10 deg. The chair occupant is thus brought to a standing position. USE - Chair for infirm persons.
