In prepn. of a compsn. contg. vitamins, (1) plant parts or extracts are treated chemically in weak alcoholic solns., the time and temp. of the treatment being adjusted according to the type of plant, (2) after filtering off the residue, other infusions, obtd. in later processes, are opt. added to the existing soln., (3) the various infusions are added at the same time or in stages in different processing phases, as required, and (4) after all the phases there is obtd. a compsn. which is suitable for prodn. of drinks from natural prods., with retention or elimination of vitamins and active substances contained in the raw materials.
