PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke oven cover equipped with an easily mendable closed space 16 for circulating gas generated in an oven, which accelerates heating of coal particles 2 supplied around an oven cover of a carbonizing oven 1. SOLUTION: In a heat insulating box 11 equipped with an oven cover structure 3, rectangular slabs 17 for shielding infiltration of coal particles are set forth at horizontal and vertical directions through horizontal body supporting frames 15 equipped with unevenly shaped mooring parts F at their upper end edge sites and the slabs are connected with one another at their jointing parts at the upper and lower sites by removable jointing structures, whereby the easily mendable closed space for gas generated in an oven 16 can be structured.
