The structural element for a building consists of a panel (1) of thermally insulating material attached to a ribbed panel (3) of reinforced concrete. The thermal insulation panel (1) is used as shuttering for casting the reinforced concrete panel and then remains attached to the concrete. Small holes (15) are formed in the surface of the exposed side of the thermal insulation panel. These holes increase the sound absorbing characteristic of the thermal insulation panel. The holes also serve for the attachment of cladding panels for covering the thermal insulation. USE - Building structural elements.
