PURPOSE:To improve taste by ionizing the molecule of the nutrient contained in rice or the mineral component contained therein and to simultaneously remove residual agricultural chemicals by applying high voltage to a rice milling machine wherein unpolished rice for food is polished by the rice milling machine to prepare polished rice. CONSTITUTION:When unpolished rice for food is polished by a rice milling machine 1 to prepare polished rice, high voltage is applied to the rice milling machine 1 by a high voltage generator to ionize the molecule of the nutrient contained in said rice or the mineral component contained therein and the taste of the rice is improved and residual agricultural chemicals are removed at the same time. A power supply insulating apparatus is applied to a power supply so as to prevent that the high voltage applied to the rice milling machine 1 transmits through the power supply line of the electromotor for the power of the rice milling machine 1 to be shortcircuited. As a result, the taste of rice is improved and the agricultural chemicals used at the time of production remaining in rice are removed to a large extent. |
