<p>A sheet moulding cpd. has a basic layer (3) consisting of thermosetting material, fillers, fibres and customary additives. At least one side has two layers, an intermediate layer (2) and a top layer (1). (2) lies against (3) and comprises at least fibre reinforcement and thermosetting material in a partly cured state, and is capable of resisting the shear forces with (1) that occur during moulding. (1) comprises thermosetting material having no fibre reinforcement, which is in a cured state smaller than (2). Pref. the thermosetting materials is unsatd. polyester. Automobile bodywork is mfd. using the sheet moulding cpd.</p> |
