PURPOSE:To enable a control operation to make a sure high-speed control operation by calculating the K value which is the ratio of the moving amount of an image on the film surface to a lens thrusting quantity with a linear function equation using the zoom lens position, focus lens position, and defocusing quantity as parameters. CONSTITUTION:This focus controller is provided with a means 13 which outputs zoom position information after detecting a zoom lens position, means 14 which output defocusing information after finding the range to an object from light passed through lenses 11 and 12, and means 15 which outputs focus lens position information by detecting a focus lens position. Then the data calculated value of prefixed data from the zoom position information and the K value is calculated from the data calculated value by using the lens position information and defocusing information as parameters. In addition to the above-mentioned means 13, 14, and 15, the controller is provided with a means 16 which outputs a focus lens controlling signal after carrying out the following calculation: Focus lens moving amount = defocusing amount/K value. Therefore, the speed-up and accuracy of the controlling operations of the controller can be improved. |
