PURPOSE:To obtain the title reinforced resin body provided with sufficient and uniform staining resistance by mixing the glass fiber bundle coated with hydrophosphorous acid (salt) into a molten thermoplastic resin, and forming the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Hydrophosphorous acid or its salt (e.g., calcium acid hypophos phite) is deposited on the surface of a glass fiber bundle by spraying, etc. The amt. is controlled to 0.05-1.5wt.%. The bundle is then mixed into the molten thermoplastic resin (except polyphenylene sulfide) such as thermoplastic polyester resin, polyolefin resin, and polyamide resin, and the mixture is formed to obtain a resin body. Since the reinforcing glass fiber bundle coated with hypophosphor ous acid (salt) is mixed into the resin, the obtained resin body is not stained by the heating, etc., when the resin is formed. |
