<p>PURPOSE:To improve a reader quality, to miniaturize the title reader and to reduce a cost in a simple constitution by providing an image sensor attached by adhering light receiving elements on one surface of a transparent sheet, and light emitting elements attached at a position close to the image sensor. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an original 11 in irradiated with a light emitted from a light emitting element 15 through a transparent sheet 12, reflected light from the original surface is made incident on a light receiving element 14 of an image sensor 13 through the transparent sheet 12. The respective light emitting element 15 and image sensor 13 are adhesively attached on the transparent sheet 12, and proximately arranged. Consequently, the position relation between the light emitting element and light receiving element can be highly accurately fixed, and the uniform intensive light can be made incident on each part of the light receiving element. Thus, the read quality is improved, a rod lens is made unnecessary, the device is miniaturized, the constitution is simplified and cost reduction is attained.</p> |
