Safety chock

The safety chock, also called a skid, is also specially equipped for winter and is provided with many safety factors. The main focus of the safety chock lies in the fact that the underside of the safety chock is provided with all types of anti-skid profiles such as steel pins, anti-skid serrations, anti-skid ribs, claws, grooves etc., and also that it can be folded in and folded out. The anti-skid plate of the safety chock has furthermore also been provided with a built-in anti-skid plate heating system. These anti-skid profiles and the anti-skid plate heating system provided result in the elimination of the former slippery, icy supporting surface of the skid. The built-in anti-skid plate heating system melts the snow and the ice in minutes from the asphalt pavement or from the road surface. This universal safety skid consequently always has an optimum, secure hold even in winter in snow and ice. As an additional safety device the safety chock has been arranged such that it can also be slid onto the chock-securing device and locked, and has also been provided with a retractable or fold-in drive-on aid, cf.
