PURPOSE:To improve color balance and to easily produce white colors so as to improve the display grade of the electrode plate for a color liquid crystal display device by forming a transparent which has 400-500 product of refractive index (n) and film thickness d(nm) on color filters. CONSTITUTION:The transparent electrode 4 having the product of the refractive index (n) and the film thickness d(nm) ranging 400-500 is formed on the color filters of the electrode plate for the display device having the color filters 2 and the transparent substrate 1. An inorg. oxide such as SiO2, MgO or Al2O3 or peptide resin, polyvinyl alcohol and other heat resistant resins may exist as an overcoating layer 3 on the color filter layer 2 in this case. The peak of the B (blue) of the color filter is higher than heretofore and the color balance is good in this way. The influence of the transmittance of ITO (mixture composed of indium oxide and tin oxide) is decreased. The good electrode plate is thus obtd. |
