The casing made from plastic according to the invention comprises a base element 1 including a body of semicylindrical overall shape extended on one side by a perpendicular section also of semicylindrical overall shape; a cover 2 including a body of semicylindrical overall shape extended on one side by a perpendicular section also of semicylindrical overall shape, the base element 1 and the cover 2 forming a casing of cylindrical overall appearance when they are assembled against one another; an end section 3 fitted inside the free end of the bodies of the base element 1 and of the cover 2; and a connection ring 9 provided with a screw thread capable of being screwed onto internal screw threads made in a complementary manner in the end parts of the semicylindrical sections of the base element 1 and of the cover 2. <IMAGE>
