A supporting and/or holding means for percussion musical instruments, more especially for drums, which not only improves the ability to vibrate of the instrument body which acts as a resonator, but also effectively prevents the transference of vibrations between musical instruments connected to one another and which consists of a rigid support member 4 engaging the inside of the body 2 of the instrument, a rigid holding member 6 arranged exclusively on the outside of the body 2 and capable of being fixed on or secured to a support 3, for example, a foot or leg, and a flexible connecting member 7 which is arranged between support member 4 and holding member 6, said connecting member consisting of non-metallic material which damps and/or absorbs vibrations. The connecting member 7 includes a first component 7a between the support member 4 and the body 2, and a second component 7b between the holding member 6 and the body 2.
