PURPOSE:To reduce the size of dtectors and the number of embedded patterns by integrating the signals for the number of revolutions of tires or the like with time to obtain the distance signals corespoding to the embedded patterns and reading 0 and 1 codes in conformity with the synchronizing signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a crane travels, impulsive signals are first obtained with a detector 6 by the initial metallic plate or magnet. The signals shaped to square pulses with a waveform shaper 8 enter gate circuits 9 and 12. The gate 9 is opened by said signals and the signals of a detector 7 for the number of revolutions connected to said gate are connected to an integrator 10. The output X of the integrator is connected to a signal comparator 11, and is compared with a preset value X. If the output value of the integrtor exceeds the X, the integrator is cleared to zero by the pulse signal from the comparator, and the integration is started again from zero. |
