<p>PURPOSE:To prevent gas from being discharged in any kind of emergency by employing a detent member for mechanically closing a valve when vibrated and a solenoid for closing the valve triggered by signal from a sensor. CONSTITUTION:A valve body 6 for opening or closing a gas passage is normally kept in the open condition by means of a movable iron core 19 of a solenoid 20. The solenoid 20 is actuated by a detected signal from various sensors to open or close the valve body 6. A clamping member 15 is provided for detachably and elastically clamping a housing 26 of the solenoid 20 to a casing 2. A detent member 13 is provided to connect the housing 26 to a stationary object such as a building so as the detent member 13 works to separate the housing 26 from the casing 2 in an emergency.</p> |
