PURPOSE:To improve remarkably operational efficiency by obtaining final printed matter of high quality which can be used simply by copy sensation, by a method wherein a plate detection structure in which a plate is so constructed as to be pinched by specific positions of a fifth and a sixth conveying means to be stopped is established. CONSTITUTION:When plate detection and correction are performed for a plate 1 which is pinched by a fifth and a sixth conveying rolls 45, 57 and is stopped at a position where plate detection can be easily performed, a plate detection door 42 is firstly opened, and a lighting system 43 is lit up by operation of a limit switch for illumination. Since an upper face of a plate 1 is illuminated, the plate is simply detected and corrected under a state where it stands. When the plate detection door 42 is returned to the original position after ending the operation, the detected plate 1 is carried to a printing machine 1 side. In automation, detection of a detection sensor at a top part is neglected, and the plate is carried as it is to a plate feed roller of the printing machine. Therefore, the machine can be used simply by copy sensation by everybody, and final printed matter of high quality can be speedily obtained without staining hands, and operational efficiency can be remarkably improved by integration of an engraving machine and the printing machine. |
