<p>PURPOSE:To make compact and simplify a driving device of a heater by arranging the heater at the upper stream side of a filter which is installed at the exhaust passage of a diesel engine, and rotating the heater thought a pinion and a rack by a motor. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 is installed in the exhaust passage of a diesel engine, and a filter 2 to capture the exhaust gas microparticles is installed inside the casing 1. At the upper stream side of the filter 2, a rotary shaft 3 is provided, and a heater 4 superposed on the filter 2 is fixed at the lower edge of the rotary shaft 3. A stepping motor 7 is connected to the upper end of the rotary shaft 3 through a pinion 5 and a rack 6. Furthermore, while the stepping motor 7 is controlled by a control unit 8, the heater 4 is controlled by a power regulating device 10 through a lead wire 9. In such a composition, when the filter 2 is reproduced, the heater 4 is rotated to scan at the upper stream side end surface of the filter 2.</p> |
