<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the displacement of a printed character generated on a photosensitive drum rotating in a time division drive and to print the character in a high quality by equalizing the sums of times from the starts of driving one line of respective scanning electrode to the applications of respective scanning pulses for all scanning electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The scanning order of scanning electrodes S1-Sn are so altered at each predetermined scanning number (i) that the mean (T11+T12+...+T1i)/i, (T21+T22+...+T2i)/i,..., (Tm1+Tm2+...+Tmi)/i of the times (T11-T1i, T21-T2i,..., Tm1-Tmi) from the starts of the exposure times of one line to scanning pulses P11-P12...Pm1-Pm2 of respective cells become equal. For example, the direction of scanning is reversed at one each scanning. That is, positive polarity scanning pulses P1, P12...Pm1 are sequentially scanned in the order of scanning electrodes S1, S2...Sn in the first scanning, and negative polarity scanning pulses Pm2...P22, P12 are sequentially scanned in the order of the electrodes Sn...S2, S2 in the second scanning.</p> |
