PURPOSE:To prevent superposed flashing to a large fixed area in the state of restarting of paper, etc. by detecting the movement of the paper earlier than the charging time for a capacitor and determining whether the capacitor is to be charged or not. CONSTITUTION:A means (consisting of a shift register, a laser scan clock, a counter circuit, etc.) which follows up the moving condition from an exposure part 6 up to a transfer part 8 according to lapse of time in the stage of developing the electrostatic latent images on a latent image forming body 7 and moving the same up to the part 8 is provided. How the pictures are transferred in the part 8 or how printing paper 9 is started or stopped is detected by said means earlier than the charging time for a capacitor and whether the capacitor is to be charged or not is determined. Further the time until the paper stops is measured beforehand and in the stage of the next starting, the first flash timings for fixing flash lamps 1-3 are deviated at the next starting until the paper fixed 4 prior to the stopping passes by, whereby double fixing is prevented. |
