PURPOSE:To enable continuous heat-treatment of a food, e.g. drying, expansion, sterilization treatments, etc., in high efficiency, by supplying hot air, etc., with a Coanda spiral flow generator. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air generated by a compressor 4 is supplied through a ring slit 3 into an apparatus 1 for generating Coanda spiral flow. A granular food is introduced into the apparatus 1 from a feeding tank 5, passed through a tube 2 and separated from air with separators 6, 7. The objective treated granular food is recovered through a recovery tube 10. If necessary, the system is supplied with steam generated from a steam supplying apparatus 11. |
