PURPOSE:To obtain an extruder die, which has enough cooling effect and is full of durability, by a structure wherein a flat plate consists of a first flat plate made of ceramic and a second plate made of metal and the diameter of each of the respective through holes of the second flat plate is made larger than that of each of the through holes of the first flat plate. CONSTITUTION:A first flat plate 2 made of ceramic is placed inside and a second flat plate 3 made of stainless steel is placed outside so as to be piled up each other. In addition, through holes 4 and 5 are bored common to both the flat plates. The inlet of each through hole 4 of the first flat plate 2 is rounded. Each through hole 5 of the second flat plate 3 is coaxial to that of the first flat plate 1 and the diameter of the former is made slightly larger than that of the latter. Since the first flat plate 2 is for determining the die diameter, its thin thickness is enough. Since the second flat plate 3 is requested for cooling plastic and withstanding the internal pressure of an extruder, its thickness is made thicker than the thickness of the first flat plate. Further, a positioning pin is provided at the location different from the through hole between both the flat plates. Outside said extruder dies 2 and 3, rotary cutters 7 are provided for cutting off extruded plastic at certain periods. |
