PURPOSE:To freely form a dissimilar long sized stock causing no flapping phenomenon and having no regulation in the shape by executing a rolling reduction gradually from the tip of the punch having a side face flank for a material and forming a dissimilar stock by spreading the material in the plate width direction. CONSTITUTION:To bar like punch 1 has an inclined face 6 and is fitted to a punch holder 8. In executing a rolling reduction of the punch 1 repeatedly the material 2 to be worked is fed in an arrow mark direction by a feeding device 3 from the tip side of the punch 1. The punch 1 taking a smaller angle than a right angle for the arrow mark in the moving direction of the material to be worked is bitten at the distance of one stroke into the material gradually from the tip to manufacture the dissimilar strip stock having a recessed groove at the center, i.e., having a different thickness part with spreading the material in the breadth direction of the material 2 to be worked. The limitation in shapes is thus reduced and the effect of less material losses like in cutting is obtd.
